On Monday, August 2, ETM held its Inaugural Golf Tournament at St. Andrews Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. The event raised funds for ETM's music programs in New York City schools.
Over 75 guests arrived at St. Andrews for what turned out to be a beautiful summer day. Following breakfast and some practice swings, the golfers headed out to the course for a shotgun start.
After a round of 18 holes, everyone returned to the clubhouse for cocktails and an outdoor BBQ, prepared by the renowned chefs at St. Andrews. As the guests circled the Silent Auction tables and placed bids, they commented on how much they had enjoyed the course.
The first place foursome included ETM co-founder Eldon Mayer, Alan DeRose, Michael Grady and Chris Gabrielsen. Second place winners were from the Decca Label Group and included Chris Roberts, Jon and Steve Singer, and Paul Foley. Third place went to James Larkin, Greg Ketron, Larry Kossove and Justin Doyle.
ETM thanks all the generous contributors, foursome sponsors, hole sponsors, auction sponsors, and Board members who helped make the event a success. We are also very grateful to Golf Tournament Chair Andrew Malik and Event Chairs Katherine Elliot and Edward Petner for their help organizing the event, and thank our hole-in-one sponsor, Mercedes-Benz of White Plains.
ETM looks forward to hosting our second Golf Tournament in August 2011.
