On Sunday May 15th, Education Through Music held its 20th Anniversary Children's Benefit at Chelsea Piers, Pier 60. Education Through Music honored Dante Di Loreto, Executive Producer of the hit television series Glee, for his outstanding work as a national advocate for music education. Glee stars Jane Lynch, Jenna Ushkowitz, Chord Overstreet, and Darren Criss joined him that night to celebrate his efforts.
Children from P.S. 76, P.S. 169, M.S. 180, M.S. 424, St. Ann and St. Anselm showcased their musical talents by performing a tribute to Dante and the gala guests. The evening concluded with a performance from world-renowned violinist Joshua Bell.
The ETM 20th Anniversary Children's Benefit was the perfect way to celebrate ETM's work serving 13,000 children in 25 partner schools among the most under-served communities in New York City.
