ETM is thrilled to announce the election of Amie Patel to the Board of Directors. Ms. Patel is an Investment Officer with the Soros Economic Development Fund (SEDF) where she focuses on early to growth stage investments in agribusiness, financial services, health and logistics. She is especially active with the firm’s investments in India, Haiti and Palestine as well as other emerging markets. She joined SEDF from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation where she was a Presidential Management Fellow responsible for developing and evaluating emerging market private equity funds and fund managers. Ms. Patel graduated with a BS in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and holds an MBA from Georgetown University.
