ETM Honors Stephen Herx
ETM's Board of Directors and staff celebrated the achievements of Stephen Herx at a dinner prior to his resignation in June.
As Director of Programs from 2004 to 2008, Mr. Herx strengthened all aspects of ETM's programming - including expanding teaching artist training and mentoring, developing extensive printed and online resources for teaching artists, revising ETM's curriculum, and creating tools to assess music skills.
Under his guidance, ETM's New York City partner school programs grew from 5,000 children in 10 schools to over 9,000 children in 20 schools, and ETM formed new relationships with organizations in California and Connecticut.
Everyone at ETM thanks Steve for his tremendous dedication to ETM's mission over the years.
