Mr. Alibhai is a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Citigroup Global Markets in New York. Since joining the firm in 2005, Aly has advised on a variety of buy-side and sell-side domestic and cross-border transactions in the Media/Entertainment and Consumer/Retail industries. Aly has an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma, and a BSc. in Cell Biology and Genetics from the University of British Columbia. Aly is also a CFA charterholder.
Aly resides in New York City with his wife and two children. He and his family are music enthusiasts and are advocates of immersing children, including their own, in music education at an early age.
