Jieun Kim is a violinist/violist, choir accompanist, and conductor. She is a certified preK-12 music teacher in the state of New York and currently teaches orchestra at P.S. 68 in the Bronx. Dedicated to public school education, she directed beginning to advanced orchestras and taught string instruments to all grades in several New York City public schools for the past six years. In addition to teaching, she also served as an accompanist for many New York church choirs. She is currently a violinist with the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony Orchestra, and is completing her Master’s degrees in Music and Music Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
