Musicians Hold Benefit Concerts for ETM

ETM sincerely thanks the many dedicated artists who have donated proceeds from their recent performances to support our programs.

Rebecca Hajeck, a trained opera professional, donated the proceeds from her debut opera recital in New York City to ETM this September.

Mark Marshall, a New York City-based multi-instrumentalist and producer, held a benefit concert for ETM this fall. He plans to perform benefit concerts for ETM on a regular basis in the future. Visit: www.knobtwiddler.net/live/ for upcoming benefit show dates.

In late October, Princeton University’s three co-ed a cappella groups (Roaring 20, Shere Khan, and The Princeton Katzenjammers) collaborated to showcase their talents in a benefit concert for ETM. Between sets, the groups discussed the mission of ETM, and encouraged audience members to give. The a cappella groups hope to make this fundraiser for ETM an annual tradition.

Musicians from all genres have used art to sustain art, and ETM truly appreciates the efforts of these individuals to give back.

If you or anyone you know is interested in holding a fundraiser for Education Through Music, please contact Angie Morrissey at 212-972-4788 or amorrissey@ETMonline.org.
