On December 7, the 4th and 5th grade after-school chorus from P.S. 83 in East Harlem performed for the supporters of the Epiphany Community Nursery School (ECNS) at its annual charity auction. This year, ECNS selected ETM as its nonprofit partner for the event. Director of ECNS Wendy Levey noted the school's philosophy of providing students with "teachable moments" about the importance of giving back.
ETM Music Teacher Mallory Rivera was incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and professionalism of her students. She noted, "The students have taken their roles as chorus members and model music students beyond what anyone would expect from 4th and 5th graders."
ETM appreciates ECNS' commitment to community giving and thanks the school for giving P.S. 83 students the opportunity to shine.
