Tony Sauza, Instructional Supervisor, <\/strong><\/span>received his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA in ethnomusicology while minoring in Chicana\/o Studies.\u00a0 He earned his California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Music in 2010 and his Master of Music degree in Afro-Latin Music from California State University, Los Angeles in 2012.<\/p>

Tony taught secondary music in Los Angeles for eight years before joining the national music education nonprofit, Music Will (formerly Little Kids Rock).\u00a0 He served as the Associate Director of Teaching & Learning where he supported teachers and students nationwide by creating curriculum and professional development courses focusing on Popular Music Pedagogies, Hip Hop and Cypher Based Education, and Culturally Responsive & Sustaining Pedagogies.<\/p>

Tony most recently taught elementary music at the Los Angeles Unified School District and served as a music education lecturer at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University Long Beach.<\/p>
