Avri Lapuz, Instructional Supervisor,<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where she received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Though she is based in the San Fernando Valley, Arvi is a native of Long Beach, CA, where she performed primarily as a vocalist throughout the city, for organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce and Goodwill, and she served as a judge for several citywide singing competitions. In her high school and junior college years, Arvi stepped into a leadership role by serving as the Student Assistant Director for the choirs. In her 20\u2019s, Arvi also worked as Musical Director for several community theaters and performance academies, where she performed and starred in various shows as well. Although Arvi loved to perform, she still had a hunger for teaching music. Recently, Arvi completed her third and final Orff Levels course and is now certified in the Orff Schulwerk approach.<\/p>
