Motivation Monday
Breath in….Breath out. What better way to start the week off than with breathing exercises to help you relax and de-stress. Taking deep breaths sends a message to your brain to calm down, and it is one of the best ways to alleviate stress. Check out ETM Music Teacher Brian Wright’s guided breathing exercise to get started.
Try It Out Tuesday
Time to get creative! From homemade trash bagpipes to comb kazoo’s, get out your hot glue-guns and elevate your arts and crafts game to the next level! For even more homemade musical instruments, visit our YouTube channel!
Wacky Wednesday
When in doubt, dance it out! What better way to celebrate the middle of the week than shaking out your sillies! ETM Music Teacher Arielle Lewis can lead you through your silly shake-out in less than two minutes.
Travel Thursday
We know it’s been tough to travel these days, but we have got you covered. See the world through the eyes of our music teachers. Learn all about Colombia’s music and culture, sing in Spanish as you travel to Cuba, and learn all about the Samba as you visit Brazil with ETM music teachers David Martinez, Daniel Potter, and Lorin Cohen.
Family Fun Night
It’s the weekend! Order in your favorite take-out, gather your family/friends (Zoom if you can’t social distance), and dance-along with ETM music teacher David Martinez and his daughter to celebrate the end of the week! Learn the movements to the Spanish song “Bate Chocolate.”
Showtime Saturday
We all are missing the energy of live music. When was the last concert or Broadway musical we all saw? We are all longing for some live entertainment! So, why not make some showbiz-magic of your own? We’ve got all the tools to help you and your family make a show-stopping at-home musical!
Storytime Sunday
Sundays are for winding down and relaxing. Sit down with a nice warm cup of tea or coffee, grab your favorite book, and spend the morning reading with your family. Better yet! One of our fabulous ETM music teachers can read to you!
