Ciara Cornelius is a Brooklyn-born multidisciplinary artist. She started her journey working as an intern for the PROTOTYPE Festival and moved her way up to working in administration at the HERE Arts Center as an administrative assistant. While there, she found her love of production in the arts and blossomed into becoming a freelance stage manager. She comes from a vigorous performance background with her participation in the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. She had the opportunity to sing inside of David Geffen Hall and The David H. Koch Theatre and has performed under the leadership of Lorin Maazel, Alan Gilbert, and Leon Botstein. She has also performed at Barclays Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the Barbican Center in London. She holds her Bachelor of Arts in Music and her Advanced Certificate in Music Education from the Aaron Copland School of Music.
