Emily Susskind is a consultant in technology assessment, implementation, and strategy, leveraging her extensive background in technology-driven businesses across the financial services, information services, entertainment and media, and electronics industries. She is also an active angel investor working with several early-stage companies.
Ms. Susskind earlier served as Chief Information Officer of Prudential Financial Inc.’s International Division. Previously, she developed technology and e-business strategy as executive vice president of the Sony Corporation of America. She also served as senior vice president, Dow Jones Markets (Telerate); senior vice president, Tele-TV Systems (a digital and interactive television venture); and held a series of information technology positions at Salomon Brothers Inc.
Ms. Susskind earned an MBA degree in finance from the Wharton Graduate School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BA degree in philosophy from Wellesley College. In addition to serving as Board Director and Vice-Chairman of Education Through Music, Ms. Susskind is a Director at Hot Bread Kitchen, Inc. and is a former Board Director of City Harvest.
