Jason Flowers II

Jason has an eclectic background as soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist. He has performed throughout Italy and the USA, and recently Jason recently made his piano debut at the world-renowned Steinway Hall. He’s also performed in the student-led Black History Concert at the Alan M. and Joan Taub Ades Performance Space, as well as at the Oculus at the World Trade Center.

Jason earned a scholarship to study music at the University of Minnesota, followed by a scholarship to study music at the Manhattan School of Music, where he finished with Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano Performance and a Master of Music. He is now working toward his Master of Music Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Jason also received the Encouragement Award from the National Association of Negro Musicians.
