Michael Fang is the Founder and Managing Partner of Vosges Capital Partners, an event-driven and value-oriented investment firm. He has over 15 years of professional investing and financial advisory experience. Prior to founding Vosges, Michael was a senior analyst at Bay Harbour Management and its successor firm BHR Capital, where he focused on distressed debt and special situations investing. He began his finance career at Wasserstein Perella & Co., advising on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and financial restructurings in the media and telecom sectors.
Michael graduated cum laude from Harvard College with an A.B. in Economics and East Asian Studies and received an M.B.A. with Distinction from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He currently resides in New York City with his wife and two children. A native of Hong Kong, he is an avid amateur musician, having studied classical piano and voice at the Aspen Music Festival and School, the New England Conservatory of Music, and the Juilliard School (Evening Division).
