At Education Through Music-LA, we believe in the power of music to change lives
and give children hope. Your generosity helps students from under-resourced communities reach their full potential through the joy of making music and feeling a sense of belonging.
One simple and impactful way to support this mission is through a Donor Advised Fund (DAF).
What is a Donor Advised Fund?
A DAF is like a charitable investment account and tax-efficient method created for the sole purpose of supporting non-profit causes you care about. Contribute cash, stock, or other assets to your DAF, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants to organizations such as ETM-LA over time.

Legacy Giving
Honor loved ones through a Legacy Gift Fund
Personalized gift funds are created to make contributions in honor of loved ones. Donations will help ensure that no child is deprived of the opportunity to receive quality music education in school.
You can create a fund in someone’s honor or memory. Contact us at development@etmla.org

Give While You Shop
Some online retailers give back to ETM-LA when you shop with them and select ETM-LA as the charity recipient.
Ralphs
When you use your Ralphs Rewards Card, a percentage of your purchase will go to benefit ETM-LA. All you have to do is take a few minutes to sign up online! Follow these 4 easy steps to register your card and get started!
(Please note that if you have previously signed up, you will need to input ETM-LA’s new rewards number: QQ037.)
- Go to ralphs.com and sign in. Click on “My Account” in the right-hand corner, then click on “Account Settings.”
- Find the “Community Rewards” section (lower right-hand corner) and then click on “Edit My Community Contribution.”
- Search for “Education Through Music-Los Angeles” and our name will pop up. Or input ETM-LA’s new NPO #, which is QQ037.
- Click on the circle next to our name and click “save.” Now whenever you use your Ralphs Rewards Card to shop, a % will benefit music education in our local schools!
