Nicole Auriti
Nicole Auriti is a certified music teacher in New York State who has been teaching in Staten Island and Brooklyn for the past three years. She received both her Master’s degree in music performance and her Bachelor’s degree in music education at CUNY Brooklyn College. At Brooklyn College, Nicole has performed with the Conservatory’s orchestra and wind ensemble, in addition to performing multiple solo and chamber works. In 2015, she was a participant of the New York State School Music Association’s All State conference. For the past eight years, Nicole has been teaching flute lessons to students of all ages privately and through community organizations. During college, she studied under flautists Keith Bonner and Andrew Rehrig. Nicole is an active member of NAfME, the Music Educators Workshop at Carnegie Hall, and the New York City Connected Arts Network. She is currently working with Education Through Music to provide music education to schools without a music program in New York City.
