Daniel Makula serves as a Music Teacher Mentor/Field Supervisor. Dan is originally from the Chicago area where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from DePaul University and Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining the ETM teac, Dan taught 5th-8th grade orchestra for 9 years and taught private violin and viola students. In addition to playing in various community orchestras, pit orchestras, and quartets over the years, he studied improv comedy and acting at the Second City Training Center of Chicago.
