John Leighton recently relocated to New York City from Saugerties, New York. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Vocal Performance from the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. Prior to coming to ETM, he worked at the Eastman Community Music School and for the Webster Central School District. He was the Assistant Stage Manager for the Eastman Opera Theatre for three years. John has performed in various opera/music theatre productions with the Eastman Opera Theatre, The Kennedy Center and the Eastman School of Music. He was also the Chancel Choir Tenor Section Leader for the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, Rochester, NY for four years.
