Michaela Kiberstis is a percussionist and music educator based in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated with a degree in Music Education from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2022, where she studied percussion under Jeffrey Fischer and Dr. Andrew Fordyce. She also served as Principal Percussionist of the University of Massachusetts Lowell Wind Ensemble for 2 years. As an educator, she has presented at the MMEA All-State Conference and served on the electoral board of her university’s cNAfME chapter for 3 years. Michaela is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Music Education at Teachers College of Columbia University as a recipient of the Abby O’Neill Fellowship.
