Peter Gunz

Peter Gunz is rapper from The Bronx, New York that made up half of the rap duo Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz.

He is best known for the 1997 hit single “Déjà Vu (Uptown Baby)” which reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 and continues to be an anthem for the borough two and a half decades later. He signed to Columbia Records and went on to record songs with many of the biggest names in music, including Mariah Carey, Eminem, Big Pun, Slick Rick and Big L.

Gunz has appeared on the VH1 reality series “Love & Hip-Hop: New York” and is current the host of the long running reality series “Cheaters”.

His son, Cory Gunz, is a recording artist signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment.
