Rsonist is a music producer and founding member of the production group, The Heatmakerz. Over the last decade The Heatmakerz has solely consisted of Rsonist. He is often credited with crafting the sound of New York City in the 2000’s and 2010’s.

Rsonist was born in Kingston, Jamaica and grew up in The Bronx, New York. He is best known as the sound behind multi-platinum selling Harlem based hip-hop group The Diplomats (Dip Set). His songs “Dipset Anthem” and “I’m Ready” by The Diplomats continue to be some of the biggest street anthems to ever come out of New York City.  In addition to working on solo projects of Dip Set artists Cam’ron, Juelz Santana and Jim Jones, he has made songs with an extensive list of top artists in the hip-hop genre including Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Jeezy, Lil Flip, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon amongst others. In addition to his work in the hip-hop space, Rsonist has also written and produced a song for pop superstar Beyonce.

Most recently Rsonist has executive produced the recent Jim Jones album “El Capo” while also producing the song “Vacheron” which appears on the most recent Rick Ross release “Richer Than I Ever Been”.
