Sal Piscopo is the Founder and Managing Director of Ether Advisory Partners, a consulting firm focused on advising leading private equity firms on their M&A strategies across the software, technology, and technology-enabled services sectors in the U.S. and Canada. Sal brings a strong track record of nearly 15 years of successful M&A, corporate strategy, and corporate development expertise to Ether’s clients and serves as a key part of M&A strategy formulation and execution. Prior to founding Ether in 2012, Sal spent five years in buyside M&A consulting to private equity. Earlier in his career, he spent three years as a legal research analyst focused on the software and technology industries.
Active in the New York City business, education, cultural and philanthropic communities, Sal currently serves on The Board of Directors at Catholic Guardian Services and The Board of Trustees at Kaufman Music Center and previously on The Board of Lincoln Center Education and The Children’s Health Council at Weill Cornell Medicine. Brooklyn born and raised and trained in art and music as an NYC public school student, Sal is a passionate supporter of arts education and children’s health initiatives.
Sal received his B.A. from Syracuse University and his J.D. from New York Law School with concentrations in Corporate and Intellectual Property Law.
