Stanley Brown

Stanley Brown is a music producer and executive with over twenty-five years of professional experience in all facets of the industry.

Stanley was the Head of A&R for RCA Inspiration, a division of Sony Music Entertainment. He played in integral role in the rebranding of RCA Inspiration, formerly the Verity Gospel Music Group. Before this RCA Inspiration tenure, Stanley held the positions of Vice President of A&R for Island Black Music and Senior Director of A&R for Motown Records.

While at Island Records, Stanley signed Bishop T.D. Jakes whose major label debut, “Sacred Love Songs,” went on to sell nearly half a million albums. Jakes has gone on to be named one of the 25 Most Influential Evangelicals in America and has sold several million albums throughout his career. It was around this time that Stanley also signed Karen Clark-Sheard and she went on to become a fixture in Christian music. Stanley worked alongside Bishop Hezekiah Walker in the development of the Love Fellowship Crusade Choir, who has won two Grammy Awards, 12 Grammy nominations and countless other Dove, Stellar and NAACP awards and nominations.

As an executive Stanley’s ear and eye for talent has been unprecedented and continues to perform as such today with one of his telling successes being Fred Hammond’s “God, Love and Romance,” and United Tenors.

As a producer and writer, Stanley has contributed to albums that have currently sold over 13 million albums to date in the United States, garnering over 22 million albums sold worldwide. These albums cover a variety of genres including Gospel, Pop, Christian, Rhythm & Blues and Mainstream music. Stanley has worked with a “Who’s Who” of the music industry as a producer. Some of his credits include artists such as Gospel icon Shirley Ceasar, The Temptations, LL Cool J., Run DMC, Salt-n-Pepa, Keith Sweat, Dru Hill, Charlie Wilson, India Arie, Bell Biv DeVoe, Melonie Fiona and many more. He wrote the Dru Hill song “Tell Me”, which continues to be sampled in multiple hip-hop songs every year.

As a music director (MD) Stanley is the current MD for Michelle Williams (formerly of Destiny’s Child). He has also served as MD for BeBe Winans, New York’s SummerStage (Globe Star), as well as the Circle of Sisters Expo.

As a keyboard player that taught himself to play, he has played with some of the biggest stars on the planet including Beyonce and Stevie Wonder.

In 2004, Stanley founded Timeless Music Group (TMG). The company has worked with both recording artists and corporate clients in different facets of the entertainment industry. Some of the corporate clients for TMG include General Motors, Pepsi Co., IBM, Verizon, Subway, McDonald’s, Wal-Mart and the BET Network. TMG has also worked closely with power agencies such as JSM Music, UniWorld and Global Hue.

He has created theme songs for multiple shows airing on the BET Network as well as being the Music Supervisor for the network’s Sunday Best and Exalted!

Stanley was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, attending public school his entire life.
