Willana Mack

Willana’s first solo performance was in church at ten years old. She has been singing in churches, concert halls, and on stage ever since. Between the ages of 12 and 19, Willana was vocal captain for CityKids Foundation. A graduate of Nyack College (B.A.), and Queens College (M.M.), and a church worship leader for many years, Ms. Mack ministered throughout the five boroughs of New York City in gospel music concerts. She was a Sony-Bertelsmann World of Expression competition winner as a high school senior for her original gospel composition, “He Took My Place.” In 2008, Ms. Mack performed as soloist at the 80th Annual Academy Awards, singing the nominated best song in the motion picture, August Rush. She was subsequently invited to Good Morning, America, Good Day, New York and also appeared on Disney’s “Young Musicians’ Symphony Orchestra Special” on ABC television. She is married to Wayne and they have three wonderful children, Sasha, Sydney and Casey.
