“Choco, Choco, Late!”

By ETM Social Media and Content Manager Jennifer Williams

When we think of winter, we think of chilly nights, cozy fires, sipping hot chocolate, and of course, making music!

So, in the spirit of sipping hot chocolate and making music, we have the perfect family-friendly evening for you!

Step 1: Prepare Your Snacks

Head to the kitchen, grab some marshmallows, maybe some leftover candy canes, and, of course, the hot chocolate mix (Maybe you even have some of those fancy hot chocolate bombs that are all the rage!)! As for snacks, we recommend comfort foods like pizza!

Step 2: Set the Scene

Get cozy in front of your fireplace. Don’t have a fireplace? That’s ok: improvise! Light a few candles, or lower the lights. Then grab some pillows and blankets and scatter them across the floor so you can sit comfortably near your “fire.”

Step 3: Learn the Lyrics

They’re simple!

Choco, choco, la, la

Choco, choco, te, te

Choco, la, choco, te

Cho-co-la-te

Step 4: Let’s Get Clapping!

ETM music teacher Arielle Lewis and her son are the perfect teachers, taking you step-by-step learning the hand choreography and rhythms. Watch them demonstrate the hand-clap patterns here.

Ready for an extra challenge? How fast can you go?

Step 5: Enjoy!

You have all the pieces you need to create the perfect music-filled night: good food, a hot drink, fun songs, and most importantly, time spent with the ones you love!
