On June 6, the inaugural ETM Festival showcased over 700 ensemble students from 11 partner schools in a free concert at the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem. Seven bands and five orchestras played for a crowd of over 1,000 of their peers, parents, and community members.
Every student performer was awarded with a medal for their musical accomplishments this year, and each ensemble instructor accepted a trophy to be placed in the school's music classroom.
