Thank you to everyone who joined us for Education Through Music’s 2026 Gala: Making Minds Sing!
The evening brought together music industry leaders, philanthropists, educators, and supporters from across New York City to celebrate the transformative power of music education — and thanks to your incredible generosity, the gala surpassed its fundraising goals in support of ETM’s mission.
We are deeply grateful to our honorees — Jim Roppo, Peter Rosenthal, and Deborah Romano — as well as our emcee Xavier “X” Jernigan, our sponsors, donors, board members, and school partners for making the night such a success.
Most importantly, ETM students stole the show with inspiring performances from the P.S. 206 ETM Student Choir, the Mount St. Ursula Bucket Drummers, and the Mount St. Ursula Rock Band. Guests were also treated to an exclusive performance by R&B trio FLO, closing the evening on an unforgettable note.
Because of your support, ETM will continue expanding access to quality music education for thousands of students across New York City public schools.
Thank you for helping us continue Making Minds Sing!
