Jonathan Ross

Jonathan grew up in Chicago, where he played professional gigs in a variety of working bands from a young age. He received his Bachelors Degree in Jazz Studies from Columbia College Chicago in 2008, and his Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Toledo in 2017. He believes one of the greatest aspects of music education is the vast assortment of life skills that are cultivated through practicing music. And he appreciates the power music gives to the individual in the way of self-realization, communication and creativity among others.
