Brooklyn native Alfredo Hernandez is awarded the ETM 2023 music teacher of the year

Alfredo Hernandez, a music teacher at All Hallows High School in the Bronx, has been named the 2023 ETM Music Teacher of the Year! Prior to Mr. Hernandez joining the school in 2021, it did not have a music teacher for several decades until partnering with ETM. Mr. Hernandez quickly built a comprehensive music program impacting all students and currently serves as the All Hallows’ Music Technology teacher as well as the Director of the All Hallows’ Modern Band. Through the music programs that he created, Mr. Hernandez has taught students who have never played an instrument, inspiring them to find their musical talents.

Congratulations, Alfredo! Click below to read more!

our 2023 gala celebration was a stunning success!

On Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom, over 400 ETM supporters came together for a night of celebration and incredible student performances to raise over $650,000! Emceed by musician and fashion entrepreneur, Andy Hilfiger, the gala honored Google, accepted by Paul Darrah, Director, Real Estate NYC, and Warner Music Group, accepted by Chris Atlas, Executive Vice President, East Coast Operations & Urban Music at Warner Records. A student bucket drumming ensemble and over 80 choral students kicked off the evening with a riveting performance. To close out the night, Andy Hilfiger joined the All Hallow’s Modern Band, which brought the house down with their energy and pure joy for music making.
