Ben Hayes

Ben is a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where he serves as a member of the legal team within Goldman Sachs Asset Management covering legal matters related to transactions in derivatives. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Ben was an Associate with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where his practice focused on advising major financial institutions on regulatory matters.

Long before law school, Ben studied trumpet performance under Dr. Paul Neebe and Dr. Rex Richardson, and performed with a number of orchestras, concert bands, jazz groups, and brass ensembles, including four tours with the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. Ben performed as a musician in Blast! The Broadway Show on its 2011-2012 U.S. National Tour, 2012 Japan National Tour, and at the 2012 World Expo in Yeuso, South Korea.

Ben holds a JD from Georgetown University and a BA from the University of Virginia.
