Emily Buckley
Emily Buckley is a music educator and instructional leader with over eight years of experience teaching general music and chorus in public schools. She holds a BM in Music Education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and an MS in Music Education from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College. Throughout her career, Emily has taught students across general and special education settings, mentored developing educators, designed music curriculum, and collaborated with school leaders and partner organizations to expand meaningful learning opportunities for students in the arts.
Emily’s passion for culturally responsive music education and global music traditions has inspired her to study music and cultural pedagogy internationally, shaping her approach to fostering identity, community, and belonging through music. She is also trained in Kodály and Orff-Schulwerk methodologies and brings a strong commitment to inclusive, student-centered music education. As an Instructional Supervisor at Education Through Music, Emily is excited to draw on her classroom and leadership experience to support music teachers in establishing impactful programs that inspire artistic expression and build community through music.
