Nyla Haulcy

Nyla Haulcy grew up in Oakland California, fueling a long passion for music where she began to play drums and piano, and write songs starting at the age of 6. She attended Oakland School for the arts from 6-11th grade studying vocal music and theory, later switching to music production. She graduated early and came to New York on a mission to fulfill her want to share music with the world and the youth. While getting her media arts management (music minor) BA, she worked with children in areas of theatre, general education, sports, art, and music. Her interest in music education is fueled by the ways in which we can interpret and take every piece that we learn into our own lives to develop our own passions and create new pathways for others.
