Scott Lescher
Scott currently serves as Director, Surface Transportation Support in Amazon Transportation Services (ATS). In this role, he has responsible for managing a global disruption management center, fleet, and maintenance program for Amazon’s North America middle mile transportation fleet. Scott joined Amazon in 2007 progressing through a series of assignments of increasing responsibility through Amazon’s core fulfillment network as they grew their retail business.
In 2013, he left Amazon to help Uniqlo expand its presence in the US as the Director of Logistics and Supply Chain, helping the company increase its US store count by 6X along with 4X growth in online sales over his 2 years with the company. In 2015 he returned to Amazon leading the North America Operations for Amazon Prime Now, adding Amazon Fresh Operations in 2018 helping to lead the business through a significant growth period including a national expansion and transition to becoming a free Prime Benefit. He has a passion for guiding teams through large change events in high growth environments where operations are strategically important.
He has an M.B.A. from MIT Sloan, and a B.S.E. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering with a minor in Musical Performance from Princeton University. While Scott wishes he had more time to play today, he gained an appreciation of music from a young age playing drums in a host of jazz settings.
