On October 18, the modern band at All Hallows High School in the Bronx brought their talents to the Lobby Stage at the brand new Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC)! The Modern Band, called “The Hallows,” was created last year under the guidance of ETM Teacher, Alfredo Hernandez, and over the past year, Mr. Hernandez has built an inclusive, robust music program at the school that has given the students a consistent outlet for creativity, self-expression, confidence and personal growth. The All Hallows High School didn’t have a formal music program for nearly four decades prior to its partnership with ETM – we’ve been so proud and excited by its success!

The Hallows brought a high energy rock performance to the PAC NYC stage, uniting the school community and ETM supporters to celebrate the power of music education. Thank you, PAC NYC, for partnering with us to provide these incredible opportunities to our partner school students. And there’s more to come! This was the first of five ETM Live! performances that we’ll be hosting throughout the year at PAC NYC, with each concert showcasing students from a different borough of New York City.
