Start ETM in Your City
ETM currently seeks to establish new affiliate organizations in order to leverage its program model and our nearly 30 years of success across NYC and Los Angeles for the benefit of under-resourced communities in other parts of the United States.
To achieve this aim, ETM will cultivate and activate corps of local board and staff leadership in high needs cities. Those partners will build ETM’s network of support and action for music education access for all children.
A national network of affiliates will strengthen and support our shared efforts, helping us to develop more resources, continually improve teaching and management practices, maintain quality standards, provide better career growth for talented staff and networking opportunities for board members, and advocate for systemic change.
Professional Development Opportunities
Education Through Music offers extensive professional development (PD) opportunities to School Leaders, Music and Non-Music teachers, and local community members. Participants of ETM’s PD also gain access to the ETM Digital Resource Library, which includes reference books, repertoire, videos, lesson plans, and other curricular materials.
